Victorian Wedding Invitations | Wedding Invitation Design, Seattle

Quick post of my latest (and probably one of my last for a long time) wedding invitation suites for Rob + Rachel. They are having a tea reception at the Anthea Ballroom in Snohomish and they wanted a modern/victorian feel to their invites. They had very strict rules for keeping the guest list to a minimum, so we created tickets to hand out for admission to the ceremony and reception.

Grad Announcements for Indigo Prints | Stationary Design, Seattle

What it is! Yes, it’s been a while. A ridiculously long while. It is also LATE and I’m exhausted. But I thought I’d make a post (or 3) before bed as I wrap up some new designs for Indigo Prints, ESPECIALLY since it’s Graduation season! In February, I designed a small Grad Announcement collection, now available here on Indigo Prints. Let’s be honest, the traditional announcements that your school offers you are cute, I guess, but you’re so much cooler and exciting than that. Not only does Indigo Prints offer Grad Announcements, they also offer Grad party invites.

I shall abruptly stop here, I’m talking too much and there’s no time! (NO TIME, THERE’S NEVER ANYTIME!——>Sorry, I did recently just watch the Jesse Spano freak out episode on Saved By The Bell).

Beautiful + Edible

As my birthday quickly approaches, I have birthday desserts on the brain. Each year, I like to throw a special party for myself and my bestie (who shares the same birthday). This year we hope to go all out with dessert! Sadly, I have to admit to keeping a folder of stunning AND delicious looking treats, partially because they’re pretty, but mostly because I dream of eating them. I wonder though, with the group of lovely desserts I’m about to show you, how can you eat such a beautiful piece of artwork?! Perhaps my struggle will keep me from overindulging?

Nah.

Feast your eyes on these beautiful AND edible works of art.

So simple and straight up sexy. From Pink Peach Cakes.

How romantical! Message in a cookie cutter by Williams-Sonoma.

These are too stinkin’ cute! What a nice way to trick yourself that you’re eating something good for you, too. Kinda. Via Coco Cake.

This keeps it classy. A cake by Sweetapolita.

These I can imagine included in my dream dessert bar. Do other people dream of dessert bars? Ugh, I have problems. From the Velvet Cream Bakery.

Friggin’ love cookie dough. What a lovely surprise to find while munching on a cupcake! Mmmmm! From The Girl Who Ate Everything.

Crispy, sexy, doily pancakes! Squirt bottle these right onto the griddle and VOALA!

Loverly…Found here.

Fondant covered mini-cakes and a colorful layer cake! What a fun way to get creative and fill a table with color! Martha never fails.

Absolutely in love with these. Something about those colors and shapes! Found here.

Can’t get enough? Check out more on my Pinterest.

Designs for sale NOW on Indigo Prints!

YAY! After all of these announcements and sneak peeks at my design work for Indigo Prints, I am excited to announce that my designs are finally live and for sale on IndigoPrints.com! Not all are loaded yet, but it’s a start! As you may know, I’ve completed a Kid’s Birthday Invite Collection for Indigo Prints as well. I can’t wait to see all that up on the site, too!

In other news, Indigo Prints put on their first ever “Design Dash” where branded designers have a chance to compete in a little competition. We had a limited amount of time to submit design entries for a Baptism/Christening Invitation. I had a hard time with this one. How many times can you layout a cross, a dove, and a baby picture??? I wanted to design something lovely and outside of the box. What I came up with was well-received and just so happened to win first place! You can see the blog post from Indigo Prints right here! What a fun surprise! Believe me, the lace was a pain to draw so I’m glad my efforts didn’t return void.
